This ZIP contains two patches: the Radio Edit, and the Extended Cut, of "kaizo beats to run quick to - vol. 3".

The Radio Edit features the version of the race levels featured at Summer Games Done Quick 2024. The Extended Cut features the designer's ideal version of each level, as well as a bonus level cut from the Radio Edit.

Both versions of this hack *require* MSU-1 in order to play every level. You can download the MSU-1 files here: https://archive.org/details/sgdq-2024-kaizo-msu1. Both versions of the hack use the same MSU-1 pack.

When patching, make sure that you rename your ROM to specifically sgdq2024.smc so that it matches the MSU-1 file names. This applies to both the Radio Edit and the Extended Cut. We recommend keeping the versions in separate folders to easily distinguish the two versions if you wish to play both.

Put all files in the same folder. If you are playing on emulator, you should be able to open the game directly from this folder with no issues. For instructions on setting up MSU-1, visit https://www.zeldix.net/t1607-msu1-getting-started-guide. If you are playing on a Super NT, go into Audio Settings and toggle "Enable Cartridge Audio" to Yes.

Some notes:

- This will NOT work on a regular SD2SNES or FxPak. It will work on FxPak Pro.
- Your SD card must be fast enough to handle the MSU-1 stream. If it is not, you'll see occasional flashes in D4/Dan's level. Yes, really.
- The Extended Cut has *not* been fully optimized for console, and there is noticable lag in "Wild Wild Wescue." The level works as intended on emulator.
- Because of the above (and a couple of HDMA glitches we never fixed), the best way to play is any MSU-1 and SA-1 compatible emulator.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the Romhack Races Discord server or send a SMWCentral PM to bd_phdx.

Happy listening, and remember: kaizo is art. Art is for everyone.
